So I've decided to hold a drawing contest! Inspired by 's contest of giving herself her own x-mas gift.

Please make sure to read ALL the rules and stipulations before beginning. If you don't do it correctly you'll be disqualified and that wouldn't be very good now would it? No it wouldn't.

Entry Options:

#1 - The Ninja Gals

I've got two female ninja characters, Luthien & Ayako, they're my rpg babes for an online Naruto RPG to which i belong. I'll insist that both girls be drawn in their specific attire, though adding in their weapons can be optional. I'd prefer them to be in an action oriented situation, but it's not necessary.

#2 - Swim Fan

While I was in Florida I drew myself as a mermaid. I'd love to see someone else illustrate her. She doesn't necessarily have to be underwater either, she could be bathing on a rock a la peter pan mermaid style, or jumping over the water like a dolphin. That choice is yours.

#3 - Evil Otaku Conquers Doomz

has an online comic located at [link] in which I am a villain who goes by the name of Evil Otaku. For this option I'd like Evil Otaku to appear sinister or quite demonic if you can manage. Doomz is pimpchimp's own character, leader of the good guys. As the title of this option points out, he needs to appear defeated. ^_^ Cause i'm just evil that way and I know pimpchimp will eventually have Doomz & Co. beat Franz and Evil Otaku and all the other baddies, i want to see Evil Otaku win just once. Action poses are preferred but not necessary.

Rules

- All entries must be in by December 31st. Absolutely no exceptions will be considered unless you've noted me at least a week prior to the deadline. (That's close to 3mths from now. Plenty of time.)
- You cannot submit a recycled artwork. Which means if you've drawn any of these characters for me before, the submission for the contest must be entirely new.
- When you post your entry on dA or anywhere else PLEASE remember to add the appropriate copyright information about the characters. All of them belong to me (Andrea MacFarlane) with the exception of Evil Otaku and Doomz who are copyrighted to pimpchimp (Casey Palmer). I will hunt you down if you don't.
- You may enter up to 3 times for this contest, no more then that. And your art can only be eligible for up to 2 prizes.
- Please note me or post in this journal if you need more info or have any other questions.



Judging and Prizes

Judging will be done by me and a select number of my friends and family. Any of my friends/family wishing to participate in the contest will be voided from the voting committee. All judging will take place from Jan 1st-10th, 2006 and prizes will be dished out the morning of the 11th.

Prizes are as follows:

-1st prize is a 1 yr sub or the cash equivalent and 2 fully illustrated colour pictures by me, including backgrounds.

-2nd prize is a 1yr sub or cash equivalent and a fully illustrated colour picture by me, with a background.

-3rd prize is a 3mth sub or cash equivalent and a fully illustrated colour picture by me, not including a background

-4th prize is a 3mth sub or cash equivalent and a lineart done by me, no background.

-5th prize is a 1 mth sub or cash equivalent and a lineart done by me, no background

-6th prize is a 1 mth sub or cash equivalent

Please Note that all prizes which include art will include having the art shipped to you upon it's completion at my expense.
